Operations

This is an educational institution that teaches the word of God. Sunday school classes usually precede Sunday church service and are used to provide the sound principles of God. The department divides the church into groups, namely; Children, Teens, Youth (boys), Youth (ladies), Women and Men classes.

Sunday school workers are usually lay people who are selected for their role either as teachers or secretary in the church by Sunday School Superintendent under the supervision of the pastor in charge of the church.

Mode of operation Sunday school holds every Sunday morning in the local Assembly. The following programs are organized by the District Sunday school;

1. District Sunday school fellowship
2. District Sunday school seminar
Special Sunday school events
1. Loyalty campaign (annual)
2. October Enlargement campaign (annual)
3. Worker’s Appreciation day ( Once in two years)
4. Pastor’s Appreciation Day (once in two years)

The Sunday school department provides learning material for effective learning to aid the students and the teachers. The following are the materials provided by Sunday school department

TEENS SOLUTIONS DEPT:
DESCRIPTION:
The ministry is for young adults (teenagers) between the ages of 13 to 19 years.

PURPOSE:
To train teenagers to discover and embrace God. A second major aim is to guide them into useful and meaningful career paths.

ANNUAL PROGRAMMES
District fellowship & Thanksgiving, Bible Bee quiz competitions, bi-annual teens convention, Sectional teens fellowships, etc.

DESCRIPTION
The ministry is for the children below (12 years old). The purpose & work of the ministry is to groom and raise them in the way of the Lord, so that they can grow in wisdom and knowledge.

Our annual programs includes: District Fellowship & Thanksgiving, CED Bible quiz competition and workers seminar.
