Objectives

This is an organized effort by Assemblies of God church to spread the good news of Jesus to those who are yet to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ within the community to carry on evangelism or other activities such as visitation, hospital work.

Missions is reaching out and sharing the Christian gospel with those who have not yet received it. The following are the purpose of missions

1. Reaching people with the good news of the gospel
2. Church growth
3. Discipleship

Operations

Mode of Operation

Missions Sunday is observed every first Sunday of the month in the local Assembly while Missions’ Day is celebrated once in a calendar year where the Missions officials direct the affairs of the church for that Sunday. The following programs are organized by the District Missions.

1. District Missions fellowship
2. District Missions seminars
